Dr. Saman Sarani, MD
Dr. Sarani was born in Iran and came to the US in 1995. Excelled though school and got his Bachelor degree in Biology from UCLA in 2004. Then proceeded to teaching for a year and then decided to go to the Medical school in St. Georges in Grenada, West Indies. He finished medical school in 2010 with honors and started residency in Internal Medicine at UCLA-Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield, Ca. In residency he designed an Internal medicine curriculum for the medical students and became the chief executive in running it. He participated in teaching, and invited many lecturers to give presentations on a variety of internal medicine topics to the medical students. In his last year of residency he was elected the chief resident and won the Chief resident as well as the Chairman's awards. He then decided to pursue his education in nephrology and started a nephrology fellowship at UCLA-Olive View in 2013. He was the chief fellow in second year and graduated in 7/2015. He then immediately joined Nephrology Associates.He currently holds title of Assistant Professor at Western University School of Medicine.
